There were weekend nights and Sunday afternoon concerts at the Shell in Overton Park.  The Allman Brothers were there often and so were a lot of other great acts.  It was $1.25 to go inside the fence or just stand around outside and visit your friends if you were broke.  Black Oak Arkansas, T-Rex, BB King, and The James Gang were some of the other bands who appeared.
