As a child I had a Tiny Tears doll which came with a pink and blue playpen. She had very curly hair which when wet didn't take long at all to dry. I think she was at least 12 inches tall to the best of my knowledge and wore a pink and white short rompers. I remember the commercial said she cried real tears.

I was about 11 when I ordered the 100 piece solder set listed above. Imagine my shock when I got it in the mail and found out they were flat figures and not like the toy soldiers we had

I got a Betsy Wetsy for Christmas when I was little, but she was defective. When I fed her a bottle, she "wet" out of her head.

I found a "Hands Down" game at a yard sale a few years ago, but I can't remember how to play. If anyone can find a copy of the rules, let me know!

Does anyone remember the "Crashmobile"? It was a model car that snapped together. You would it up with a crank, set it downn, and when it ran into something, the front bumper would cause the car to fall apart. You could get one at Happy Hal's Toy House.

I do remember the crashmobile and Happy Hal. My older brother won a contest on Happy Hals TV show with a toy shaped like two funnels joined at the small end and spun on a string suspended at the end of two sticks. I believe it was called a Wing Ding or something to that effect.

I see allot of familiar toys but had completely forgotten Major Matt Mason. Now I remember how his helmet attached to his rubber suit, the space station... wow, what a surprise to remember something like that. I really enjoyed Happy Hal too. I got to see him on a fishing trip with my Dad in the 60's. He was at Horseshoe lake, AR in the restaurant. I hoped to see some old slot cars too. I may have to take some pic's of those I still have and submit. Those were fun times as a kid.

Some of my favorite toys...skittle bowl, tip it, battling tops, hot wheels (sizzlers with the juice machine), matchbox cars, and electric football. Lincoln Logs and Tinkertoys were great too. Does anyone remember SSP's? They were cars about 8 inches long with a single wheel in the middle of the car. you would hold the car in one hand, and a pull cord with small notches would be yanked through to spin the wheel. The car could be set down and go for a long way down the street.
